Yo crew!
Back with some more art. This time, we’ve got some RPG monster sketches! Ooooo! Aaaaah! It’s for a collaborative adventure game project. I’m not sure if they, along with the character designs, will make the final cut, as the director is still settling on an aesthetic, but rest assured these creatures will continue to make appearances in the GK Universe. Let’s take a look!:
#1: Skeleton Trooper
Your typical grunt…who happens to be a reanimated set of bones. Yep, nothing abnormal here.
#2: The “Gel Series”
My favs. The Gel Series start life off in a form that resembles the one on the bottom right. As they grow and mature, the select a form in order to suit the needs of the colony. This is done by secreting a gelatinous substance that engulfs their frail frames, creating something much more durable and menacing. The three you see are “warrior form”, “behemoth form” and “caster form”
#3: Heavy Enemies
On the left, you have CedarOwl, a beefed up owl in heavy armor (just like they appear in nature) and Reximus, a lizard creatures that spends his free time weight training.
#4: Some Drakes and an Ooze
Here’s warrior/magic members of the drake family. Oh, and what would an RPG be without an ooze/slime creature?
#5: Drakes
Some more members of the drake family: A Pup and a young-adult warrior.
#6: Assortment
